Joseph Kessel // Les Enfants de la Chance
Paris, Gallimard, 1934
Limited First Edition
Limited, Out of Commerce First Edition.

In this novel, Kessel develops his favorite and often autobiographical themes: friendship, linked in many cases to aviation and the years of war, tumultuous loves, celebration and carefreeness, the generosity of feelings, the journalistic scoops.
The book, like others by Kessel, well depicts the society of the early 1930s.
“We're going to drink, fight, kidnap women, live and succeed! »
“Heavy episodes, barely believable adventures, a youth that turns everything upside down. The truth, in a word.”
