Georges Simenon // Le Riche Homme + The Rich Man

Two books:

These are the first French and American editions of a book by Georges Simenon: "Le Riche Homme" (Paris, Presses de la Cité, 1970) and "The Rich Man" (New York, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1971).

The book is one of Simenon’s psychological novels, in which the author takes up several of his rather recurrent themes, some with an autobiographical connotation – the life of a provincial 'notable', extra-marital and ancillary loves.

French edition:

Deluxe First Edition, one of 100 copies (number 13) – in sheets, unopened, in a navy-blue publisher’s slipcase. In Fine condition.

American Edition :

First edition, signed by Georges Simenon. In a fine condition, except for a discreet brown spot on page 18.
