Autographed, handwritten letter on Consulat General de France at Los Angeles letterhead (Romain Gary was the French General Consul in L.A., since 1956) addressed to Director George Cukor.

Lesley Blanch (1904-2007) author, journalist, artist, Vogue editor. She was married to Gary from 1945 to 1961.
A clever, eloquent letter detailing having missed one of Cukor's legendary dinner parties, very good condition.
